Broken filter cover (pics - no 56K)

Here it is - I changed the air filter in my 03 Si, and broke the cover in the process - see pic Mad

Any suggestions on how to fix this are welcome.

I got a 5/8" bronze pipe from the hardware store and tried to use j-b weld to put everything together. Well, partial luck. Plastic parts are together and weld is curing, but the pipe was tight at one end, and loose on the other, so I was not able to put all things together in one step, and now I'm thinking on how to weld the pipe in there...

And now I finally welded the bronze pipe there, too. I just think it should be stronger this way Very Happy
