This forum deals with many serious subjects. I certainly realize the importance of these. I also realize the need for humour to counteract the seriousness. I have tried to insert a little. RE: the current poll "who has right of way at a four way stop"? My answer was: The giant jacked-up pickup with a rifle rack and the "Guns don't kill people. I do. Bumper sticker! One of my other favourites was posted on a thread complaining of someone honking behind them. This bumper sticker was "Keep honking I'm reloading"! Although I have an extensive firearms collection I don't consider myself a "Gun Nut". Over 90% of my collection are antiques which I value for their historical significance. If anyone has funny bumper stickers, window stickers, or funny driving experiences I would enjoy seeing them. |

Great stickers. It's difficult enough for me to type when not laughing. Well... Stupidity is not an official handicap. |

Since I am unable to post images I will just quote funny bumper stickers. " I apologise for driving so close in front of you". |

| However. Stupidity by Officials can be hilarious! Yesterday I was driving on a 2 lane highway in a 45mph speed zone. As this highway enters the city the speed zone is reduced to 25mph. I use this highway often and am aware of this. A few years ago warning signs were installed when there was a major speed reduction. The warning signs are placed 500 feet before the actual speed reduction sign. I noticed brake lights in the traffic ahead so I slowed down. As I approached the WARNING sign I saw that about 50 feet beyond it was one of the trailer mounted RADAR devices with a large digital display showing drivers their current speed. My speed was 31mph. The display then started flashing in red SLOW DOWN! SLOW DOWN! I was confused. Why should I slow down when I was going 31mph in a 45mph zone? The police had placed the RADAR at the warning sign. Not the actual speed zone sign where it was supposed to be. Idiots! |

I love scaring these devices. When you go like 20 mph above the limit, they just lose their mind and start flashing all the colors LOL |
