I was driving home from a doctors appointment one day and received a phone call from my mother that i had to answer. I answered the phone only to get pulled over by the campus police. I ended up getting ticketed for a call that lasted 1 minute. Long story short I figured out real quick that its stupid to answer a phone call while driving. Its not worth the 150.00 dollar ticket I received.
I store my cell phone in a front trouser pocket which is covered by my lap belt while driving. To use it I would have to release my seat belt and contort my body quite a bit. In my state unbuckled seat belt and handheld cell use are both primary violations, so I don't.
