I knew that there were places here in the US where you could get a learners permit at 14.

But I just discovered that in N. Dakota you can get a permit at 12! Well really 12years and 9 months -- but still.

You can have a drivers license at 14 there.

Sure its N. Dakota, but still and all would you be happy sharing the road with a 12 year old?

Wow, are you kidding me! No way will I feel safe with a 12 year old driving around.

As it is, 14 years is too young for it, but 12...! Though of course, like other things, they're all doing it too early these days! Wink

Funny, I started at 12 years Razz

They used to issue youth driving licenses at this age back in the USSR. But, and it is a big but, until the regular legal age of 18, you had to have an adult with you in the car. This way I don't see why it can't work. And yes, I too think even 14 and 16 is too early for driving alone. Smile
