Hi Hello. I just found this forum and I think it's a fantastic idea.

So I thought before just starting to randomly post here, I'd at least give a shot at introducing myself.
I'm in my late 30's . I've been driving for 20 years... As with my screenname, my name is Mark. The rest is a car I own...not a Corvair as some enthusiasts may have thought or hoped....but a slightly more loathed GM model...a 1978 Chevy Monza Spyder. Factory 5.0 liter V8 4speed Posi. It's my favorite car to drive.

I also purchased a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo 5 door 5 speed. It's also a neat car to drive.

I've had quite a history driving quite a few typical mid 80's crapbox american cars, on typical blue collar town, highways . (I live in the Northeastern US). I now teach people how to drive for a small driving school. Fun gig.

I'm looking forward to reading and posting here. Nice to be here.

Welcome here Mark! Nice to meet you Smile

Hmm... Chevy, I've always like that car. We rarely get those in london though... here, Ford, Vauxall and Golf dominates... with a huge sprinkling of BMW and Audi. They prefer compact cars here...and you can't blame them. Lol...People barely have enough space for themselves to breathe - the typical american car will only make matters worse! Laughing

Welcome to the board. While I do not share your preferences in cars, we seem to share a vocation: I instruct drivers to a more advanced level. I believe both can mutually enrich each other's knowledge. I'm looking forward to it.
