Hi all! My name is Bill Manning and I live in Orlando, Fl. I use to drive vans and box trucks as a courier in Orlando. I also use to be a Staples office supplies driver.
Plus I use to drive down to Miami from Orlando 6 nights week, ugh! In all those 10 or so years I never got one ticket, not one accident. So I guess I'm a safe driver.
Anyway I thought I'd join here, seems like a nice place. |

Hi Bill, nice to meet you! Driving in Miami, I don't know if I would. California, hell, even Oregon driving scares me in the city. Washington has those grooves in the pavement to keep you on your toes, I hate that. After driving for a living, do you still have all your hair? (teeheehee) |

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm damn glad I don't drive for a living anymore. When I drove to Miami it was for the Miami Herald newspaper. So I was driving down the Fl. turnpike all through the night.
I had so many times I almost fell asleep and when flying off the road. If it was not for those grooves on the shoulders to wake you up I would have went off for sure. |
