My mom taught me to drive because my dad didn’t have the patience. I have been a good and safe driver. I’m not the best road travel person. I get impatient and bored like a kid on long trips. What time is it? Are we almost there? I gotta pee. You know the type. I like going places, but wish I could teleport the getting there part. I have often had school or jobs with a 30 to 60 minute drive one way. I must admit I’ve gotten a lot of good thinking done while driving. I’ve lived and driven in several states and countries. I bought (new) what I call “my most favorite car I ever had” in Germany, a 1996 Saab 9000 CE. It still has less than 130K miles. The driver’s seat shows typical wear for leather. Otherwise the interior is pretty pristine. I still absolutely love this car. Too bad Mazda got the “zoom, zoom, zoom” slogan, because I think of this often while in my car. I love the way my car hugs curvy roads.

Nice to meetcha, Saablover. I'm new here, too, name is Satiety (say-shuh-tee). My fave car ever was a 1976 Chevrolet Malibu Classic, black outside, red inside, six way seats, cruise control and electric everything. I had to sell it when moving out of state and we had more cars than drivers. The other two cars were a work truck and the family van, so the Malibu had to go. Somebody got a real good car, I bought it from the original owner and it was pristine, too.

Nice to meet you satiety and arun. satiety, what a heartbreak, saying goodbye to that Malibu! arun, one of the things I love about my Saab, is that it still feels luxurious inside.
